SERVICES
Tailored solutions for every stage of your physical health
Annual Physical Check-Up
A physical therapist is an essential part of your primary care team. A yearly visit can identify and address potential issues early, preventing them from becoming major problems. Check-up includes screening for pain, musculoskeletal imbalances, and movement dysfunctions.
Post-Therapy Personal Training
Traditional physical therapy clinics often only bring patients to a minimum medical standard. Continuing training with a physical therapist after being released from a traditional clinic ensures you not only maintain your progress but also surpass your pre-injury or pre-surgery performance.
Injury Prevention Personal Training
A physical therapist provides expert guidance in developing safe and effective exercise routines tailored to your specific physical conditions. This service is great for exercise novices looking to start their fitness journey, active individuals experiencing acute injuries while exercising, and older adults focused on health-maintenance.
Performance
Physical Therapy
For athletes or active individuals recovering from injuries or surgeries, hourlong one-on-one sessions with a physical therapist can go beyond what traditional therapists can offer. Personalized sports-specific treatment plans in a clinic-gym hybrid setting are designed to optimize peak performance.
Running
Analysis
Have your running form analyzed by a physical therapist that is also an avid runner. Running analysis uses video, movement assessment, and strength testing to identify factors that may be affecting your running mechanics, efficiency, and performance.
Dry Needling and Body Work
Manual techniques such as therapeutic massage, Graston, dry needling, cupping, joint mobilizations, and stretching can play a vital role in priming the body for therapeutic recovery. These techniques are typically integrated into treatment plans.
ABOUT
Dr. Vadim Ayzenshtat & Peak Performance Physio

I am Dr. Vadim Ayzenshtat, a Physical Therapist and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Touro College in NYC. With a background that spans gymnastics competitions, the New York City Marathon, triathlons, and strongman competitions, I bring a wealth of experience in exercise and rehabilitation to my practice. Over the past 13 years, I have helped countless people overcome their barriers to happy and healthy living by empowering them through exercise. My work experience ranges from commercial gyms, private training studios, my own personal training business, and outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinics. After working with thousands of patients in both the gym and the rehabilitative settings, I truly believe that rehab and performance training go hand in hand.
My mission:
In Tucson, I have excelled as a physical therapist in leading rehab clinics. However, I've always believed there was a better way to serve patients. In an insurance-based setting, not every patient gets the care that they need because their visits are cut off by insurance before they reach their goals. This is based on arbitrary metrics, or once patients met minimum criteria. I often wished to see people in a greater capacity to help them thrive in the ways that they deserved.
That's why I've decided to adopt a self-pay approach, removing the involvement of insurance companies in determining the treatment options for my patients. At Peak Performance Physio, I am able to provide one-on-one private physical therapy and training that goes beyond traditional care to help you achieve your goals. Whether you want to recover from an injury or improve your overall wellness, I can guide you there.
